Seven years of relentless progress
Olson Turbine Technologies was born in Harlow, South Carolina in 2017, when founder Eric Olson grew frustrated watching promising wind sites go undeveloped because no one could model their yield reliably enough to secure financing.
We started by building better software. Our first product was a wind analysis tool that cut yield forecast uncertainty in half. Within three years, clients were asking us to build the turbines too — and we did.
Today we are a vertically integrated platform: we model the wind, build and install the hardware, operate the fleet in real time, connect it to the grid, and certify every tonne of carbon offset. End to end, with no handoffs to third parties who don't share our standards.
